I had my yearly wellness exam this morning and I talked to the doc about TTC. We have been trying for 5 months (I know that is not long at all) but given our family’s history (my mom unexpected with me, first cycle off BC with little sister, DH mom first cycle off BC with him and his little sister) she thought it was a little odd we weren’t pregnant yet. We discussed OPKs, lifestyle, even down to the kind of underwear DH and I wear. She said we are doing everything right that we have control over. So she ordered some bloodwork and an ultrasound as beginning precautions to make sure all my parts are in full working order.

I understand there are many, many women out there who have much worse experiences than this. And I can’t begin to imagine the heartache. I’m so nervous to get the results back. Praying for the best🙏🏼
