I just got off the phone with my mom and I feel icky...I texted her to ask her if my paw paw(grandpa) has texting on his phone because I wanted to send him my announcement message (since I don't have social media) and she calls telling me about how I need to call because he doesn't do text messages. Understand that completely..

She starts talk about his wife (not her mom) and how she'll just blurt it out if I text it to her, which I'm fine with, and how I need to call my paw paw and (she says this word for in a old timey southern accent) "talk to him and tell him that you want to tell him about the new baby growing in your womb.."

What the hell...no need to sound like an old biblical woman when telling my grandfather who is well aware of how pregnancy works, he had 4 children and has grandchildren and I'm sure he'd be weirded out too. We aren't very close and I talk to him like 1-2 a year...

Anyways mini rant over🙄
