Are you guys washing stuffed animals before letting baby touch them? If so, comment how!

Some say not to wash them and I’m more concerned that if I do they won’t dry inside properly and may mold. That is more of a concern to me than my baby touching an unwashed stuffed animal but I might just be crazy 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

Depends on where I get them. Used, yes. New, no.

Maybe you can wipe the stuffed animal with sanitizing wipes?? And let it air dry.

I definitely am just because most of them have been in my attic for a long time. Or we got them from family or like. Little second hand stores. But if I bought them new from clean stores then no probably won’t wash them. 
BUT if you do wash stuffed animals. Wash them inside a pillow case. Don’t just throw them in there because they could get destroyed or not dry completely and get moldy etc.

New ? No. My 2 year old son takes his favorite stuffed animal everywhere since he was a baby, of course it’s  A white animal too so we have to wash it every week or every other week.

You can put them in the freezer for a couple of days, this will kill any bacteria or virus present but not damage the stuffed animal in anyway.

Most of mine are new, so no. I did get one used for him though, and I put it through the washer and dryer. It's one of his favorites now 😊

I’ve wiped them down with baby wipes if they’re just sitting and getting dusty but that’s about it
