If alcohol is legal marijuana should be legal period.

It already is here in Canada. It doesn't seem to have done any harm, except made things more difficult for people who used to sell weed cheaply. The government wants to control the weed-selling now, which has made my husband go out to the Native Reserve to get his weed.

I'm not really a big fan of government overreach. 
The government trying to save people from their own choice to take a drug that isn't even unsafe when used responsibly is definitely government overreach.
The government's job is to keep the roads driveable, defend the country, and protect rights.  Not to try and save people from themselves.
I don't think the government has ANY PLACE telling us what we can and can't put into our own bodies. Not. The. Government's. Business.

I honestly think with the demand for marijuana,  CBd, and hemp (and they legalized it) we would be able to do so much good with the extra tax money. Could you imagine how much revenue the industry as a whole would take in? 
All that aside to me weed is harmless. Its helped save me through the worst times of my life.  I'd rather smoke weed which grows naturally then use prescription or OTC medication anyday. Ones natural and the other is created by a money hungry business who only profits off making people worse. I mean have you seen the lists of side effects of medications? The worst side effect I've had from weed is a good nights sleep and horrible munchies (I do realize some people become anxious and dont react well though)
