My boyfriend and I live together. We have a spare bedroom. He started doing this behind my back in the spare and I caught him on accident in the middle of the night. I was shocked and hurt because he was hiding it from me instead of talking to me about it. He said hes stressed about $ and enjoys the hobby. *My problem ISN'T this. My problem is that he is a recovering drug addict/alcoholic**He has been sober 8 months after being in rehab and currently he spends 85% of his days in a sober living because of court orders from shit that happend when he was spiraling* He has been in and out of rehab for 10 years* He use to grow and sell weed when he use to smoke, but since being sober he got rid of everything. Well now all of a sudden he says he feels strong enough to grow and sell again without having temptations of relapse. His best interest is at heart and this is why I am having a hard time adjusting to him doing this again when it was only something he did when he was not sober. He says I have nothing to worry about, that he enjoys it as a hobby, it keeps him busy, and its good $. I just don't see it worth him POSSIBLY losing his sobriety over which not only would sabotage our relationship but may also be bad for his court case. I am worried but I would never give him an ultimatum, I'm just curious if I am "wrong" for feeling this way about it or worrying too much about him doing this 😪
