Sorry y’all, meant to put this with the other thread about the recalled part on our vehicle that has left us unable to even drive the car due to it being stuck in park.

In most cases the dealership will give you a loaner, other times you'll have to go through your insurance.

My car had a recalled part and left me unable to drive it for the time it was being fixed and I was offered a loaner vehicle. So I would think they should but I could be wrong.

It has to be in your insurance policy. Because usually insurance covers those types of things. They did when they had to recall me car
