What to bring?

I’m having a scheduled c section in December. This is my second baby but my first one was born vaginally. Any tips on what to bring to the hospital with me?

Only long bc I explain things.  I've only ever had c-sections.  
My packing list(roughly):
 (I don't wear the hospital gown longer than I have to)
- Nursing tanks
- Yoga pants
- one size up black stretchy boy short panties (for going home, just wear mesh in the hospital)
- Short cotton robe (for covering up if visitors come, walking around the unit or if I'm chilly)
- Socks(1-2 pr, also usually the hospital gave me some slipper socks.  I always hated them so I'm gonna bring my own this time)
- Flip flops (for shower and walking around if I'm not wearing slipper socks)
- simple toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash) 
- simple makeup (concealer, mascara)
- coming home outfit for baby (nb and 0-3m just in case)
- carseat (obviously)
- pacis (I prefer MAM brand, both kids have liked them and I don't like the kind the hospital has)
- swaddle blanket for baby (just my personal preference)
- phone charger
- outfit for you for going home (I usually plan to be able to wear what I went in since you usually aren't in it long before changing into gown for surgery)

I can't think of much you need to bring that's C section specific except comfortable clothing to wear while you there and for going home.  I wore really loose pajama bottoms in a the hospital and a maxi dress to go home.  In the winter, I would just stick with the loose pants (something that will come above your incision).  I brought underwear with me, but I ended up loving the mesh undies they give your there and brought home as many pairs as I could get my hands on before leaving (I wore them for 2-3 weeks postpartum).

Pack the same things you did with your first plus an abdominal binder if your hospital doesn’t provide them. That’s really the only c-section specific thing I needed either time for my girls. Good luck!

Ask your OB what the hospital will supply for both you and the baby. For instance I wore hospital gowns, compression socks, a robe, and non skid slipper socks. I packed my toiletries. I also had a phone charger with a long cord. For my daughter she used the hospital supplied baby shirts, swaddle blankets, diapers, wipes, booty cream, and formula. I needed clothes for both of us to go home in too. I also had a bag to take hospital goodies home in. 
Oh and I also took my daughter's baby book for copies of her hand and foot prints.

Don’t over pack! I for sure did. Just make sure you bring something comfy to wear home. Shampoo and soap and stuff like that the hospital has, at least mine did. Phone charger and stuff for hubby is really the only thing I needed to bring. People have these pre made lists on what to bring and you literally don’t even need over half of it. 
The obvious essentials for the LO like a packed diaper bag for on the way home. But other than that you don’t need much at all
