I had a c section 3 months ago. Since then, my feet have been numb, burning, tingling they hurt. Nothing helps but ice cold floors or ice on them. But that’s just temporary relief. When they’re up in bed, or sitting it’s the absolutely worst! I’m pretty sure i have neuropathy now. Nerve damage?? Anyone else have numbness in their feet following anc section? Wish it would go away. Healthy baby healthy pregnancy/ emergency c section 3 weeks early due to water rupture/leak And then when he was born they did SHORT CORD. would have been tragic for both if he came vaginally

So I had my baby in Feb via C section., she is my second baby delivered this way and my first was 11 years ago and everything was fine. This time however I have developed neuropathy but it’s in my torso from the middle of my back up and over onto the front side of my torso. The pain now 5 months later is horrible. Nothing seems to help and it’s begun to really wear on me. I’m not enjoying motherhood because I often can’t hold my baby because I’m in so much pain. My doctors aren’t sure what has caused it or when it’ll go away. I do hope you find some relief soon.

Well I met with my Doctor today and turns out my most likely diagnosis will be fibromyalgia. Of course it’s a diagnosis of exclusion so there are a few more tests to run and drs to meet.

Oh wow mama!! I am so sorry. So now, my son is just almost 2.5 and my feet are better, not fixed, they still get numb, cold floors still help. But it doesn’t happen as often. I also have the same sensation in the middle of my back at random times. It’s like right where the needle went I assume. Middle Of my spine tingles for a few minutes then goes away. Very odd. I hope you feel better and start to enjoy this time with your little one. Wishing you the best! Perhaps just something we have to deal with?? Unfair albeit. I recently thought maybe it was caused by a gluten allergy, though I’m sure it’s not that LOL. I haven’t limited gluten since but I only think that based off symptoms of gluten intolerance. 🤷🏻‍♀️
