Why the hell do people keep asking this?

The reason you wait 6 weeks is for the risk of complications and infection to reduce. 
Anything penetrating the vagina poses a GREAT risk of infection to the uterus and vagina itself. The last thing you want is a massive uterine infection causing serious illness, infertility or death. That’s why nothing should enter your vagina until after 6 weeks and cleared by your OBGYN.

I don’t even understand how people can do it at 6 weeks. I was still in so much pain at that point. That’s just the bare minimum to prevent infection. I’m pretty sure I waited like 3-4 months but luckily I didn’t have a husband that bothered me everyday about it so I guess you would feel more pressured to do it sooner if your husband was being ridiculous about it.

I was so sore there was no way my husband was touching me until everything healed down south Lol it took a good couple months until my postpartum bleeding stopped and probably another month or so after that before we had sex again.
