WARNING LONG STORY! But my sweet little man is here!!

Jordan • 🤰🏼mommy to be JULY 2019!

I know I’m super late at posting my birth story but my life has been super hectic!!

Bentley William was born via emergency csection on July 1, 2019 at 2004 (8:04 pm). 7 lbs 6 oz 19 inches long!!

His due date was July 12th.

We went in for our weekly NST and went to my appointment afterwards where i get an ultrasound just to check everything because I’m on heart medication so they were tracking his growth. Well they went to start the scan and could not find any fluid!! I had not been leaking any nor had my water broke. So they told us to go home and grab our stuff because we were having a baby today! So we get to the hospital at about 1 and they plan on inducing me...alright no big deal. Well then my heart started to go all funky and my HR was running fast. So they decided that they were going to do a csection but they had to wait a few more hours because i had ate right before we got to the hospital. So they gave me some medicine to lower my heart rate for the time being till they were able to get me into the OR. It’s now baby time I went in to the OR they gave me a spinal block then brought in my husband and within 10 min of being in there Bentley was out! It had went by so fast.

Fast forward a bit they went to run his sugars and they were low and he had a heart murmur so we ended up having to stay in the hospital for 5 days till cardiology could see him and they could get his sugars back up and stay there. He was born on Monday and we went home on Friday!

Fast forward to Wednesday July 10th I had to go to the ER because I had an excruciating Headache and my feet were so swollen that I could barley walk on them they were so round. I couldn’t put socks or shoes on my feet. I get to the ER and my BP was 186/105! They immediately brought me back to a room and started me on a magnesium (mag) drip and made me inpatient. That was the shortest time I have ever been in the ER before them moving me up to a floor. Well we get upstairs they moved me back to labor and delivery and it’s still super high. So they pushed the Mag fast and let me tell you that is one of the worst feelings in the world. They then put the mag on a drip and had that for 12 hours. Well my BP finally went back down. They have to watch you for 24 hours after they give you magnesium to make sure your BP doesn’t go back up well here we are we get to the 8 hour mark after having been off of it and it spikes back up again. They diagnosed me with post partum preeclampsia. Well now they pushed mag again and then put me on a mag drip for 24 hours. Well all the time passes and now they have to watch me for 24 hours again. So now they are doing CT scans and an MRI. They see spots on my brain from in the scans. Come to find out I had a mini stroke because my BP was so high. I’m now back home after being in the hospital for a week and on medicine for high blood pressure.

IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR THANK YOU FOR READING!! ♥️♥️
