I was on birth control for nearly 8-10 year n now I've stop taking it im so ready for children but it seem as if I can't get pregnant at all what should I do? do I need to go see a doctor are what?????

I've been off bc now for 4/5 months first I was on the shot then move to the pill

I heard that if you're on the pill for many years at a time it makes it harder to get pregnant after. You should definitely talk to your doctor however the average length of time it takes a couple using no birth control to conceive under the age of 35 is 6 months.

Wich kind of birth control? Because I had a really hard time concieving after having a mirena for 9years...

It can take 1-3 months for your body to get back in its natural groove and start ovulating again after stopping birth control. At least that's with the pill (As I'm writing this I can't remember if you stated what form you used). Take ovulation tests to try to keep better track!

How long have you been trying? When I went off my BC (after 10 years) my doctor said that we should try for a year before getting concerned if were not getting pregnant.
