My MIL got us a ton of gifts for us at the baby shower. Including velvet hangers, curtains, nursing cover, baby tooth brushes, first aid kit, a bottle brush. I’m thankful for the gifts but the problem is they smoke in their house. She bought everything a month before the shower and it all sat in her house for a month and now stinks like cigarettes. And not just a slight smell it’s strong. I’m pretty sure her husband smokes non stop. I don’t know what to do with these items. Everything was bought from Amazon. Should I return them? Is that wrong? Do you think the items that are wrapped in plastic are still ok?
