I quit!

Lenny • 👩🏻👨🏼‍🦰👧🏻👦🏼🤰🏻

I have worked at Walmart for two years now. Walmart helped me to be able to finally afford to get a divorce from my drug addict ex husband. The people were there for me during that time, and even surprised me with several wedding gifts when I remarried.

But the hours were crap. I worked every Friday and Saturday until midnight. I didn’t have a life outside of school and work. I only have one year left until my Bachelors degree, and so my mother in law asked me to come work for her- making $4 more an hour! This will allow me to work Monday, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s while going to my classes on Tuesday and Thursdays! I also have an interview for a summer internship (next summer) at an Air Force base where my husband works and that would lead to a permanent full time job.

It just seems like everything is looking up! I’ll be able to put my daughter in tee ball next spring and gymnastics this fall and actually go to the events and be able to be home this Christmas! ❤️
