Bedrest for entire pregnancy

Hi everyone! We lost our baby boy, Myles February 16, 2015 at 21 weeks. Preterm labor because turned out i had IC (incompetent cervix). I just found out I'm pregnant again (approx 6w6d) and my new doctor said i need to be on bedrest for the entire pregnancy especially cuz i have to have a cerclage done. Anyone else gone thru it? Is it horribly painful afterwards? I will do anything to have this baby so idc but just thought I'd ask. Also, how did u deal with muscle cramps from not being able to be active?
