My baby girl was born three weeks ago! She is so beautiful & so strong! We did have to stay in the hospital for five days to watch our baby girl do to a medication I take that made my baby girl have withdrawals from the medication! It was very scary, it broke my heart & made me very on edge every day! She is a fighter though and she fought threw it with all her strength! She did not have to go to the nicu they gave us a chance to stay in the hospital with her and comfort her and that seemed to help her the most with her coming off the meds! Giving her my breast milk helped her a lot, and even tho I am still taking that medication there is such a little amount in my breast milk that it does not no longer effect her. It was a rough week, but me and her father just comforted her and held her and took all the advice we could from the nurses. & everything turned out better then I thought it was going to. We were able to go home on the fifth day & it was the happiest day for me that week! She is little over three weeks old now and she is so beautiful and strong and she lights up my days! She looks so much like her daddy, and is getting so big already! Her name is Allaiyah, and she was 6lbs 4oz and 19in long! I couldn’t feel more lucky!
