Any thoughts help. Me and my bf met at work (our relationship is still a secret to ppl at work), we used to work with this one other girl who’s a mutual friend of ours. Before we started dating the 3 of us used to hang out quite often and we are all good friends.

This girl is really fun to be around, however she’s somewhat of a gossip and she apparently was telling people that my bf had a crush on her and was trying really hard and that made her uncomfortable. (This was before we started dating and my bf and I got to know from someone else recently.) My bf was in shock and hurt in a way that he really liked her as a friend before, took very good care of both of us, but that girl was telling made-up stories to other people.

Now my question is...she’s texting me asking me to hang out, the last I saw her was almost a year ago. Should I meet up with her? She’s always nice to me all these years, but I’m very angry at her to what she did to my bf. Should I even bring it up to my bf and ask for his opinion?
