ewcm" /> I got allot of ewcm today but I did my ovulation test and it said no lh surge so I was just curious how do you know . I should do my fertile focus to triple double check

You get ewcm because you have a surge of estrogen. The surge of estrogen causes your brain to produce another hormone that triggers the release if the egg.

So i think you have ewcm right before. The same as an opk. You get your peak before you ovulate because its detecting that hormone thats releasing the egg. And it could be minutes to 24 hours. I dont think there is an exact time.
