Medical receptionist?

Is taking a course for medical receptionist worth it? does anyone on here currently work in this?

I’ve never heard of a medical receptionist course. Honestly, take a typing course of some sort to increase your typing speed and take a medical terminology course and you’ll probably be fine. Especially if you have any customer service background.

In France you can take a medical secretary course where it gives you a option to work in the hospital or private medical .

Took the course and currently work in a hopsital. Not sure where you're located but in Canada you have to have a medical office degree to work as a medical secretary in any field. It's worth it.

It’s a waste. It isn’t a requirement and I’ve never heard of anywhere even preferring it.
