2 year old help?!!

My daughter is two and is still not sleeping all night! She wakes for a bottle at least 1-2 times a night. I am in desperate need of help. It got better about two months ago where she was sleeping all night and now it's terrible!  And on top of that, she will not stay in her bed when I put her down to sleep even though she is tired. She will get out of bed around 7-10 times and try to open her door to get out. I continue to put her back in bed and just tell her it's bedtime and leave. She isn't upset at that time but is definitely tired.... Does anyone else have this problem? Two years old should be sleeping all night! Help!!!!

A sticker chart worked well for us. We switched to a "big girl" bed (toddler bed) a few months before two and she took the opportunity of the freedom to run to our bed in the middle of the night. So, we made a sticker chart. She received a sticker for staying in her own bed without waking us up all night. After 5 nights (5 stickers) she earned a treat. 
   
Also, not to sound judgy, but maybe 2 is too old for a bottle...? I'm only saying this because it affects palate development. Moreover, it's not good for his teeth to be having anything but water in the middle of the night. I know a few pediatric dentists (friends of my husband) and they have so many sad stories of removing or capping toddlers' teeth because of things like bottle mouth, too much sugar, and improper hygiene. Sorry if I overstepped my bounds with this last paragraph.

First get rid of the bottle at night time. Get rid of the bottle all together.

Best advice is to be persistant every single time she/he wakes up put them back in bed. Everytime. 2 yr olds are pushing your limits and testing every little thing you do. So if you give in they will remember it. Even if its just one time because your oh so tired.
Just keep doimg it and eventually, not right away or anytime soon, they will stay in bed.

But first get rid of the bottle asap!

I would definitely suggest not giving her the bottle when she wakes up at night. She does it because she knows she'll get it. If you're still giving her bottles because it's breast milk then keep doing it during the day but not at night. And if it's just formula or plain milk then maybe it's time to wean her off bottles altogether? Good luck !

I spent about 5 months sleeping on the floor in the hallway outside my twins door when they were that age. 
If you are giving her a bottle when she wakes up, stop. Unless her dr has said otherwise, she does not need that additional nutrition at night, if she is thirsty give her a sip of water and put her back in bed. Other then that all you can really do is just keep putting her back over and over and over. It's exhausting and you'll think you're never going to sleep again, but eventually they get it. Good luck!

Get rid of the bottle ASAP! The sooner you transition to sippy cups, the quicker she will understand that it isn't something you bring into bed and sip while you sleep. That leads to orthodontic issues.

I agree with what everyone else says, get rid of the bottle, at 2 she's using more for comfort it's really not needed switch to a sippy and start wearing her off of having it in the middle of the night.

My daughter just turned two in August, she has her own room with full size bed but somehow she end up with us most nights. What we stated doing this past week is instead of leaving the light on in the hall we turned it off the only light she has is her nightlight. So far she sleeps in her room until around 5 am then sleeps with me after her father leaves for work.

I would not feed a 2yr old in the middle of the night. Try feeding her more through the day, and keep her busy- plan one or two activities a day. Something like play dough, or painting and take a walk outside. Two year olds have busy minds, but still need a lot of rest, can you cut her nap a little shorter?

No more bottles at night (or any time, for that matter). Routine is very important. For my kids, it was bath, book, bed. Once they were tucked in and the lights were out, that was it...no bargaining. If they got up, I would calmly and quietly say "time for bed" and walk them back to bed. If it happened again, I would walk them back to bed, without saying a word. Sometimes I had to do it 10 times in a row until they gave up. I have 4 kids who never put up a fight at bed time, and almost never get out of bed once they're down for the night, so I can tell you it works. You just have to be consistent and firm.

2 is young to be out of the crib if she's not sleeping through the night I would say she is not ready to be in a toddler bed.

I used to sit next to his bed while we feel asleep then slowly transitioned him to just going to sleep without me. Worked perfectly. They could be going through a growth spurt
