Husband has super low sex drive

Its killing me!!! We have sex like once a month and I seriously feel so unwanted. I try to talk to him about it but he just says it's not me he just isn't always in the mood. Help me! Does anyone else struggle with this? What's helped? He doesnt care about sexy lingerie or anything so I'm just at a loss. He's been to the doctor and he does have semi low testosterone levels but not super low. The doctor didn't tell him to take supplements or give any advice. I'm thinking we need couples counseling but I just really don't want to have to do that.
