So I got my nose pierced about 4 weeks ago. I’ve been cleaning it, but my boyfriend ripped it out 2 times on accident. It developed this bump and it hurts. Is it inflected or irritated??? I want to keep it in. Please comment and help!

Looks irritated. Contact ur piecer on how to take care of it and if there is anything you can do. I’ve never had that happen and don’t mess with the inside of my nose piercings.

I would go have your piercer look at it. My mom has ripped hers out a lot and has also had it for a good few months. It should be healed by now but is still sore and healing because she’s ripped it out. I’m not sure about the bump on the inside. I’m not sure if you can develop keloids on the inside of your nose but that’s kinda what it looks like. Definitely stay on top of cleaning, visit the piercer, and be more careful not to bump it or rip it out.

It is possible it can be a keloid from the trauma to the area. It can also be irritation; when my nose was pierced I ended up having on of these on the inside and outside of my nose. I thought it was because I wasn’t cleaning it right but it turned out I was just allergic to the ring that was used 🤷🏻‍♀️ Definitely go back to toe piercer and have them look at it that’s what I did !

I had the same thing happen to me. It’s probably just irritated. If it was infected, you’d know. That shit hurts! Mine still does that every time I change it out and it’s almost been a year. If it feels hot for a while after or starts oozing pus it’s infected. I’ll tell you what my doctor told me about it.
*Keep in mind that my doctor is not a piercing experienced person, I was there for something else and just asked her about it. Take this information however you feel best for yourself.**
My doctor said that mine was infected, but that since nose piercings heal rapidly, it would close up before the infection healed and cause a lot more issues than just leaving it in. So you’re good to keep it, just be careful with it and clean it well.
