Wanting to go the reusable nappies and wipes route. But many friends told us we’d VERY BUSY that having to do the extra washing is just not practical and not worth it.

Also we live in Australia - water and electricity prices are expensive with a capital E.

Our main reasons for wanting to go the reusable route are:

- they’re more environmentally friendly (were not super eco mindset but we’d like to do what we can within the parameters that we can be comfortable).

- many consumer reviews say it is cheaper in the long run especially if we’re planning to have more than 1 child which we are.

so my questions for those who have used both disposable and reusable nappies?

- are the reusable worth the effort?

- is it THAT much harder?

- how do they perform (absorption, how baby reacts, any skin rash especially when using the reusable ones)?

- how is the process of washing like? Can u wash them with ur own underwear/socks?

- any other comments?
