Can I pump at 31 weeks?

I’ve started leaking and want to get the hang of pumping and I want to see the colostrum and whatnot.
Is it safe?

Personally i wouldnt do it. It can cause contractions then you will be uncomfortable so early for no reason... i did at 38 weeks because i was already in prelabor and i was leaking HORRIBLY and it made things way worse for me! 😩

No pumping. Baby will get the colostrum at birth and milk will come in soon after birth. 
If anything, probably let it ‘drip’ into a bowl? I would ask your doctor if you can store it early.

I would personally hold off until you talk to your dr at next appointment. Pumping can.. induce labour (so they say.) and your milks not in so not much your going to get other then small amount you are leaking.

No. You’ll be wasting the first and most important feeding for your baby, and it can cause pre-term labor.
