Anyone else's baby hate lotion???

Question

After the bath I have tried to put lotion on her but she screams her head off. I've tried baby dove sensitive as well as Cetaphil (both of which I use on my son because he has eczema) but she screams like crazy once it even touches her skin.

My daughter always screams because it’s cold and startles her so I have to warm it up between my hands and hurry and put it on her

My 2 month old baby girl did too until I warmed it up. I live in Texas so I keep it in my car and now she loves it

It could just be ur baby’s preference...mine didn’t start to cry till shortly after I put it on her bc I think it actually made her feel hot. Her skin was even a little pinkish. I knew it wasn’t a bad reaction though bc I had been applying it every now and for a couple days before her bath. 
Then personally I just hate how lotion feels after a shower if I’m not completely dry bc it will make me hot. So I think maybe my baby has the same feeling as me about lotion. Lol

Maybe the lotion is to cold after a warm bath? Try to warm a little in your hand at a time or try an gel/oil

Lol cause it’s cold. Either run the bottle under warm water or once you pump it into your hands, rub it vigorously until it is warm enough and talk to your baby as you put t on.

My daughter was like that. I was so down to lather her and do baby massage but she did not like it. So I stopped. This baby smiles and loves being lathered up.

Have you tried oil? Maybe she will tolerate coconut oil
