Hyperemesis/ severe nausea

is anyones nausea so bad they have to take medicine ? mine has been so bad I haven't stopped throwing up since I first got pregnant. I knew I was pregnant at six weeks from how bad I was throwing up. I'm at 38 weeks now still nauseated

My midwife wants me to stop taking the medicine because she says I'm gaining 3 pounds in a week and she says its natural to throw up. has this happened to any of you guys ? i take the medicine but it only does so much. I'm just worried if I stop I'll end up in the hospital dehydrated , it's happened before.
