Anyone?

Question

Has anyone been induced and not been dilated, like at all? This is my 5th baby and nothing is happening down there and my doctor won’t even check me till 39 weeks (I went to l&d last night that’s why I know nothings happening) 
I’ve never been this far along and had NOTHING going on.. 
I’m worried about increased chances of csection as I heard that goes up going into an induction without being dilated at all.. ☹️😬😬

It just makes for an incredibly long and hard labor. I’m have a c section because I’m not progressed and it’s safer for me to not have a difficult labor.

I was barely dilated and my cervix was not thinned at all. And by not dilated I mean a finger tip (if that). 
I was due August 1st. I went in July 28th at 7pm to get induced. I had my babygirl on 07/29/19 at 11:19pm. 
It was a Roughhhh labor, but the meds didn’t cooperate with my body right so I was on and off pain meds and the epidural also didn’t last as long as it should have, then it was to strong when they fixed it. 
I pushed for 1.5-2hours.
My best advice is to relax by taking a nap when you can. That’s the best time for the baby to make his or her move as the body won’t refuse movements at that point!

For my first child I went into be induced and was not dilated at all. My dr started with the pills that go in your vagina to ripen your cervix, then the Foley balloon to help dilate, and lastly the pitocin. It was a slow process but I feel like the fact that everything was slow was why my birth was so smooth and uneventful. It was an 18 hour birth,and honestly I had no complaints for it being my first birth.

With my first, I was 0cm dilated and 0% effaced when I went in to be induced, no part of me was ready for labor. It was a very, very long process but in the end I was fortunate enough to still have a vaginal birth and my recovery was a breeze.

With my first I was induced because my water broke but I wasn’t dilated or having contractions. It was pretty rough for sure. Pushed for 2 solid hours!
