When I was pregnant with our first, both our families were so excited, always asking for updates, buying him gifts, etc. Now that I'm a couple weeks away from being due, my SOs family hasn't really acknowledged our baby. They haven't asked if he needs anything, haven't asked how he's doing, but have definitely made it clear they don't like his name. He's not even here yet, and it already feels like they don't care about him or care that he'll be here soon. My family and us have gotten him everything he needs, and we're prepared, but I feel so bad that he's not getting the same attention our first got and he's not even here yet...
