How much water/juice can a baby have?

Baby is 6 months, 7 months in 2 weeks and we have bought the Heinz baby juice. We limit him to having 2 ounces spread throughout the day but how much can he actually have? Thank you

He shouldn’t be having any. There is enough water in breast milk and formula that you do not need to supplement, and juice is definitely not necessary at all.

Juice is just sugary fruit flavored water with no nutritional value. All the meat, skin, and pulp is gone leaving only sugar and flavor. It’s better just to give your baby actual fruit.

None. Babies main source of nutrients should be breast milk or formula until 1 year, even introducing solids/purée is just to introduce flavors and texture. Maximum 4 oz water in a day at 9 months. Juice is way too much sugar and no real nutritional value, bad for their teeth, fills them up with empty calories. If you’re trying to introduce a sippy cup you can put water and breast milk or formula in it

My baby is 15 months and he's had juice maybe once. Baby definitely doesn't need juice. Water is maybe okay, but I'd still only give a few ounces per day.

Is it 100%? My ped says i can give my almost 7 month baby up to 4 oz of apple or prune juice mixed with water. I would just make sure its 100% has less artificial suger just natural sugar in it.
