IUD pain?

Samantha

I got my IUD placed about 3 years ago. The cramps after placement were enough to keep me on the couch for as long as I could, but they weren't anything I couldn't handle. I've had bad cramps (like the ones after placement) every week before my period and I usually didn't have cramps before getting the iud. For the past month or two, I have had a bunch of pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, sore breasts, heartburn, my period was much shorter than usual, I also get light headed and headaches frequently now too. What bothers me the most is that on my lower right side, down by my hip bone, about where I would assume my ovaries and fallopian tubes are, I'm having pain that comes and goes. Sometimes when I urinate and it hurts when I have a bowel movement and even wipe! (tmi sorry lol) it also hurts when I walk.

I looked on webmd and they suggested an ectopic pregnancy, but I am on accutane and have to take monthly pregnancy tests at the doctor and I took one of my own which all came back negative. But iuds also increase your risk for ectopic pregnancies....

Does anyone have any suggestions or experiencing the same things?

I'm not the primary on my insurance, so the coverage my parents have on me isn't the greatest so when I go to the doctor other than for eye and dental exams, I get huge bills so I'm trying to avoid the doctor at this point!
