HCG is growing so fast! Twins???

Question

Hello ladies, I'm 5w3d today with our rainbow baby!!! I had HCG test done last Wednesday and it was 572, today it is 15,634. By my calculations, if HCG is supposed to double every other day, it should have been around 5,000 today. Does it mean I might be pregnant with twins? How fast is your HCG growing? I'm having my first US next Friday, so I'll know for sure then!

I’m 5 weeks 6 days and my hcg as of yesterday was 34,756.  It was in the 4000s last week.  My first pregnancy, my hcg was around the 37,000s around this same time and it wasn’t twins either, just 1 little girl 😁

Mine was 210 at 14dpo, then at 18dpo it went to 1033.  That means it doubled in under 42 hours, and the levels are above average.  They were so good I don’t need any more blood tests.  Will be interesting to see if it’s twins at the scan.  The thought did cross my mind.  If it is, they’ll be identical as I only had one embryo put back.

Mine jumped from 1700 on 4w2d to 8000 on 4w5d😬 they said it was fine and a healthy sign it had a very big growth spurt. I don’t understand it fully because I thought they all grow at the same rate? But she said the numbers would level off as I went..,. Or option 2 I could be carrying twins but she kind of dismissed that idea.

It only doubles for a little while then it can quadruple by 6 weeks. Looks normal hun.

Mine went from 226 at 3 weeks to 16,500 at 4 weeks to 76,000 at 5 weeks. Just one baby in there. Some people just have a faster jump
