Car seat recommendations??

My baby is 6months old and we had a car seat which clipped into his stroller. He is far too big for it now and I’m looking for recommendations for a bigger car seat, one that can last a while and maybe one that has a base to make it easy to clip in and out of the car..
Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

So you want another infant seat?? Or convertible? Because convertible seats are for the seat to stay in the car. Unless switching to another car obviously. 
Infant seats are the only ones that have bases to snap in and out of the car.

How big is baby, height and weight? Generally the only seats that click in and out of a base are infant bucket seats. The highest limits I have seen for those are 35 pounds and 35 inches. Depending on the size of your baby that might last a little longer. My average size 14 month old is still in an infant seat. 
The next step up for a seat would be a convertible, although a convertible seat is designed to stay in the car not click in and out of a base. Many have a limit of 40 or 50 pounds rear facing, then you would be able to forward face in the same seat to the forward facing limits. If your child is above average size, already outgrown an infant seat, I would recommend a seat with a 50 pound rear-facing limit to allow rear-facing longer.
