Gold&black themed room-what color walls?

I am moving into my new house and my new bed set is black and gold and idk what color to repaint the walls. They are a very nasty pasty blue/green currently. Help!!

Answer

If the current color is kind of dark, make sure to cover the walls with a couple coats of primer first. It will help prevent the old colors from showing through, and make sure the new pain "sticks" well.
