When did you tell "the world"?

Just curious, obviously the "safe point" is 12 weeks. However  I have come to know of a lot of people that told "everyone" right away or sometime in between. I'd like to think of myself as a great secret keeper, but after trying for sometime we just want to spill the beans.

1st pregnancy I told everyone right away. About 5 weeks. And I miscarried a week later. 
2nd pregnancy I told no one but my fiance and also miscarried a few days after. 
3rd pregnancy we told family after we found out my levels were doubling, and had an ultrasound at 5w5d and had a heartbeat so we told everyone and I had a healthy baby boy 9 months later. 
4th pregnancy didnt know I was pregnant and ended up being ectopic and I miscarried. 
5th pregnancy I told my sister as soon as I found out because I just had a loss a month prior and I was scared to death. We told everyone after our ultrasound at 5w5d and we saw the heartbeat then as well.

Almost 7 weeks now and definitely waiting until 12 weeks.

This is our 5th attempt and the prior ones I didnt tell anyone but my mom and dad (of course my husband too). This time we actually have a heartbeat (havent before) and I feel a lot better about everything but I'm still waiting til about 12 weeks because I dont want to jinx it. I've atleast told 2 of my best friends about it since we saw the heart beat atleast but we def have not told my in-laws because they really cannot keep a secret.

We have had 3 pregnancies but no living babies (yet). 
1st only we knew but told family after mc for support. 
2nd I told a good friend right away. Pretty sure we told my parents when we went for ultrasound and no HB.
3rd I didnt even tell my husband. MC days after finding out and told my mom only.
This one, we're having fun with. We wanted to wait to see if a HB and we have one. We have each told a friend (ok i'm bad at secrets and told 3 friends). We're headed on vacation with my parents next week and it's killing me to keep the secret until then! We will wait until I show to tell others though... we're weird lol

I’m a little bit different, but I work in a high risk pregnancy office so I have seen it all, the good and the heart breaking cases. We don’t tell anyone until after our first two ultrasounds and our initial genetic testing comes back. Then we just tell family and close friends (and my coworkers generally know by this point because I get my blood drawn and have them scan me). After the big anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks, that’s when we have share with “the world” through social media. If something negative were to happen, I am also the type of person that likes to sort through things on my own and then talk about it with others when I’m ready so that’s another reason why we don’t tell many people earlier, but that’s just how I process things where as others want that larger support system!

I’m six weeks today.  I couldn’t hold it in anymore so I told the lady at work who’s been following my long journey to conceive.  I miscarried at around 5.5 weeks last year, but things went bad from the second blood test at 14 days after transfer.  This time things are going brilliantly.  I plan to tell my family (parents and siblings) after the 8 week scan.  Then at 10-12 weeks I’ll tell my boss and then wear one of those shirts to work with a funny message on like “Does my bump look big in this?” one that makes it clear I’m pregnant.  At 12 weeks I’ll do a pregnancy announcement on Facebook.

1st, 2nd and 3rd time right away, 4th time we are waiting for @12weeks

-2nd time gave birth to my son
-3rd time I wanted to keep secret but excited hubby told his friends and his friends told their wives, their wives are my friends so it was public. Miscarried @8weeks
-4th we are waiting until @12 weeks. Not even close friends, parents, anyone. Just husband knows. We are 6w2d and everything looks right.

With my first we told parents and siblings at 8 weeks after the first ultrasound confirmed a heartbeat. Then we told extended family and close friends at 12 weeks. Didn't announce on FB until 16 weeks but part of that was we did a Halloween themed announcement that we dropped on 10/31. 
I got pregnant again in April and had a mc at 7 weeks so only my parents know about that one.
I'm pregnant again now and had a scan at 7 weeks that showed a Heartbeat but I haven't told family yet. My parents come to visit tomorrow and they'll probably figure it out when I'm not drinking. We have another Dr appointment at 11 weeks and I'll probably tell family after that one if it goes well.

I plan to wait until the baby actually shows up but I don't live near my family and friends and I don't have social media.
