Emergency after pill

So not that long ago I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke, so I got the morning after pill. I got my period a couple of days after taking the pill but I had already had my period that month. I soon realized that was completely normal, however I'm now in the next month and was wondering if my cycle is meant to go back to normal or continue with this new date. For example I usually start on the 1st of the month but took the pill on the 13th so will I get my period on the 13th as I did last month, when I took the pill?
