First time

So I just gave my boyfriend head for the first time, and we have been dating for almost a year and I’m 16. The experience was kind of weird and I don’t trust any of my friends or sisters because they will tell my parents but I need to talk to someone about it. We went to a movie and got back to my house at 1am, we started making out and I started giving him a hand job and he suggested that I didn’t use my hand, but my mouth. I wanted to, so we got the pants off and I got on my knees. I was really nervous because I didnthave any idea what I was doing and I didn’t want to disappoint him, and so I was hesitating to go down so he kinda pushed my head and I started crying. He apologized 100 times and I forgive him, but it was just weird. Is that normal? Thats not like bad or abusive or anything right? Haha (also any tips for giving head? I needs tricks haha)
