there should be an equal amount of initiation and attention given back & forth inna relationship

shouldn’t both genders in the relationship have the same roll or job!? to keep eachother happy & give attention to eachother without one of them feeling that they are giving more than the other. both male & female should be able to initiate certain ideas and suggestions without being told... but can i ask you gals a question? what if your with someone who’s personality type doesn’t allow them to initiate things first ..? or communicate all the way through? is that an excuse for something more bigger? or could it be something they jus need to alter and work on for the relationship ? serious question 😭😭.
