Back labor?

Question

Can someone tell me what back labor feels like? I’ve been having consistent hip/lower back/tailbone pain all night worse than normal plus some nausea. I can’t sleep or lay down and a heat pack is kinda helping but not really. I labored extremely fast with my first and would like not to have a car baby this time because I couldn’t tell between normal pregnancy pain and beginning back labor. Anything is appreciated.

I had back labor with my first. It was an intense pain in the lower back with every contraction. The pain was also accompanied by stomach tightening, feeling like my hips were being squeezed and intense pressure in my pelvis.

Back labor was the worst pain I've ever had in my life and I've done multiple long births with no pain meds. 
It was so intense it took over my whole body.

This pretty much summed up my experience. 
Epidural didnt work on my left side or on my back, but helped the contractions on the right. The contractions felt were tough towards the end, but I felt like I could've handled them as there is a moment where they relent and you can sort of recover briefly....except my back never let up which became the breaking point for me. It also took several weeks for my back to really recover well enough where I could be as mobile as before birth.

Did you ever get back pain with your period? Instead of or with cramps. That’s what it feels like. Low back pain, comes at intervals just like contractions, mine shoots down my thighs as well. Kind of hard to describe the feeling, but I promise if it’s labor you’ll know pretty soon. My contractions always came way close together (2 labors, all back labor) way earlier than normal contractions would. I don’t know if that’s typical of back labor, but it’s my experience.
