What is going on with her?
My one year old niece is REALLY attached and too her mom, understandably but it’s to the point... NOONE can hold her, look at her, be near her without her LOOSING it. She has to be touching her mom ALL the time.. and she is struggling. She feels at her wits end and can’t get any house work done, eat, cook, bathe or even walk out of the room without the baby loosing it. It’s hard on her, she’s overwhelmed and needs a break, I feel awful and she just doesn’t know what else to do... she lets her cry but she cries to the point in hyperventilating and can hardly breathe, it’s rather sad and disheartening hence why I understand she doesn’t let her cry for long. I don’t blame her, I would probably do the same thing... but I know she needs a break... even if she is in the same room right next to her, she cries until mom is touching her and theres contact happening. But a of break is much needed to unwinds even if it’s to have a long bath. Any other moms experience this extreme attachment with their LO? Any recommendations? Help please.
