Mommies who's kids have umbilical hernias! Violets got bigger again, it's sticking out more now. Did it seem to make your child fussier? She seems to be having more trouble with gas and pooping. Her doctor was brief about it and only explained when I should take her in for problems like if it's firm and red, but he never said of it might cause her gut troubles if it got bigger, which it has noticably. I looked at my diet and nothing's changed there from what I normally eat and she's never had more gas depending on what she eats. Ive been doing bicycle kicks with her but she still seems uncomfortable and she grunts and squirms a lot more the past few days. I don't know if it's related to the hernia or not but she just seems more uncomfortable as it's gotten a little bigger. I'll call her doctors office and talk to them if it continues over the weekend. It's not affecting her want to eat, but the gas is affecting her sleep since she wakes up to squirm some toots out. She's been generally fussier as well.
