So my periods have always been super super light and only last three days and come every 5 weeks. I had my third baby last year by section and breast fed.....well still am, so 9 months after the birth my periods returned. Nothing out of the ordinary, normal for me periods. Then two weeks after my second one I randomly started to bleed.. and it was gushing! Was so heavy I had to change my pads 5-6 times a day and I can hardly fill one pad my whole period normally. I went for a bath and the water turned red with blood! I had to fish a huge clot out of the water and take a shower instead. I have my period again now and it’s back to normal but I wonder what that bleed was all about. Anyone else experienced this? Tia
