Natural birth at 36 weeks?

Has anyone gone into labor at 36 weeks and had a natural birth without being confined to a bed? I turn 37 weeks on Thursday with baby #4 but having to many signs of approaching labor. I want a natural labor and delivery as this is my last baby, i already signed my papers for sterilization at my last appointment. My next appointment is on Wednesday but i have this gut feeling that I won't last this next week. Words of encouragement and your stories would be helpful!
