I’m a FTM and my baby seems to have severe congestion. I’m convinced he stopped breathing from the congestion blocking his airway yesterday for almost 4 seconds as I ran across the room to beat on his back. He has absolutely NO boogies in his nose so I think it’s chest congestion. He is coughing like CRAZY and can’t seem to get relief. We have tried nose frita and no boogies are in nose so nothing came out, we held him in the bathrooom with hot water running to get steam and it seemed to give him temporary relief. And we let him sleep on a slight incline and he did well only a few spells of freaking out. But now this AM is AWFUL. he basically screams as it gets slightly broken up on the vibrating chair. As my husband is burping him the spit up is super phlegmy and chunky and almost foamy. What else should I do???? Is Sunday so obviously doc isn’t open today but I do plan to call the nurse line bc I’m freaking out. Or is all this a normal part of them learning their body? No fever btw!
