Does your partner come to every appointment ?

He’s always been at scans but I’ve told him he doesn’t need to come to midwife appointments as they only check my pee and size of baby and heartbeat. Should I ask him to come next time? I feel like he feels left out but I’m only in there for less than 5 minutes

My husband only came to my ultrasounds. It’s a huge waste of time I feel. Appointments are short and they only check heartbeat and bp for me. We made that decision together and it worked out. Especially towards the end when there more frequently.

My husband only comes to the big appointments/ultrasounds. I’ve been having to go bi weekly to appointments because of some complications. He would miss so much work if he went with me. I don’t think he cares and I can just fill him in on what they say.

I need extra growth scans and my husband can’t even come to those. He comes to some midwife appointments but they will only do my growth scans on Thursday afternoons which is so annoying and his agreement with work is that he MUST work every weds-sun so he literally cannot book time off or it will affect his job and thats the last thing we need. To be honest I don’t even mind. He’s been to a ton of private scans we’ve had anyway and I always take him a picture and he will read through the notes so he knows whats going on.

My husband has come to most of mine so far. There have been a couple he hasn’t made it to because he was out of town for work, but he likes to come to them and I like to have him there so if it doesn’t interfere with his work schedule he comes and then we get lunch together. :)

With our almost 2 year old daughter, my husband came to every single appointment. With our second little girl (I'm 23+4) he's going to be staying home more often with our daughter

He did for my first. Now he often stays home with my first while I go alone as my son really doesnt like the doctor touching me 😂

My husband works 30 minutes away and I don't want him taking time off to go to every appointment. He had the day off for one of them coincidentally so he happily came with me. Other than that he's come to each u/s but that's it. That's perfectly fine with me! The other appointments aren't exciting anyway 😁

The more kids we have the less he comes 😂 usually because I’d rather him stay with the kids than take them with me, and they’re all super short appts. Now he goes for the scans and for the Strep B test just because he keeps me distracted because it’s still awkward to me lol

My boyfriend only comes to ultrasound and depending on the time of the other appointment he will come
