I’m gonna lose it!

I gained 40 pounds with my pregnancy. However I wanted to lose about 20 even before I got pregnant. I heard that breastfeeding makes you drop weight like crazy. Well... that wasn’t the case with me. I’m one year pp and finally doing something about my weight. I was working out pretty consistently, and eating what I thought was healthy. The scale. never. Moved. It was so frustrating. I gave up more times than I can count. I started seeing a therapist for my anxiety/PTSD and I realized that my weight was affecting me more than I realized. I was so unhappy with myself and had to do something about it. I joined weight watchers almost a month ago and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s so easy to stick to and doesn’t even feel like you’re on a diet or anything. I’ve lost 10 pounds! And I never feel like I am starving myself. I also work out as much as I can, however with a one year old running around.. I don’t have a TON of time to do that. Some days I don’t feel like I am getting anywhere with this process, but lookin at these photos makes it hard to deny it! I’ve been so much happier. Even my husband has noticed.

Don’t give up ladies. And if you need someone to vent to, or are interested in WW, I would love to tell you all about it!

I’m 5’6. I was 194 when I went into labor, and 170 after pregnancy. Currently 160 and my goal weight is 130!
