My husband loves to cook and calls the kitchen his office, so he usually does the cooking and cleaning. He cleans as he goes.

Not everything I cook goes in the oven but if so i do clean then
When cooking on the stovetop im in a constent rush of cuting frying stirring etc. I prefer to get muttiple things on there at once so it finishes at the same time. 
Then I just clean after eating.
Generally my man cooks though.

I always try to clean as I go. My husband likes to wait until after we’ve eaten and it drives me crazy. He leaves stuff out like, wrappers for things and stuff he won’t even need to use again for the rest of the cook time... like bruh. 
And he always complains about the clean up after dinner and I’m like “well if you would have cleaned little bits as you go, there wouldn’t be as much to do now”

It just depends on my mood or what's going on. If I have a fussy little one I clean after she goes to bed or if I've have a tiring day I will clean everything except the dishes and do them in the morning. I mostly try to clean as I go but sometimes it's hard with a 1 year old. It's great when I cook when Daddy is home from work because he can watch her but sometimes he works late.
