Hi friends sorry if this is not the place, im just confused and dont have a dr. Appointment till next week.. i was diagnosed with hpv 18. I know its high risk for cervical cancer, but i was wondering if anyone else has it or can answer some questions... is my husband at higher risk now for cancer? Does he have a way to get checked? Or is he ok even if i gave it to him? Also, can it be passed through saliva or blood? Can my children or family catch it from normal contact with me? Or is it only spread through sex? Does this mean i have cervical cancer ot just at risk for it? Can i do anything about it? Meds or anything? I have no genital warts or visible symptoms... please any help or answers would be great!
