HOW DO I CAMP WHILE ON MY PERIOD?

hey hi i’m going camping this weekend and supposed to get my period in a couple days or start WHILE i’m camping.. i usually use a diva cup but should i just tampon the whole weekend ? SUGGESTIONS? TIPS?

Take a lot of bottled water if you’re not going to be near a water source. Does that need an explanation? Do not take the cup unless you have a way to properly sanitize it. Just take a crap ton of tampons and panty liners with you. 
Take baby wipes with you. A lot of them. And extra pairs of panties. 
Take Walmart bags with you to throw used tampons away in. Don’t litter nature with your bloody tampons lmao. Idk about you but we always made a makeshift trash can at our campsites and that way you can throw your tampons in it without it being super obvious or gross. 
It’s totally do able I’ve done it a million times.

Will you be near any bathrooms? Lots of camping sites have bath areas with showers and toilets.

Tampons, and take way more than you think you will need. Especially since you’ve been using a cup, you’ll have to change them more frequently than the cup.
