With your other children did you have a baby shower?

I did because my kids are 11 years apart. Where I'm from people havw showers no matter how far apart or if the sex is the same. Everyone believes that all babies should be celebrated!! My firsd is pregnant with girl number 5 and just had her 5th baby shower.

Yup i have 2 kids and had a baby shower both times. Why should one kid be celebrated but not the others?

You’re not supposed to have more than one baby shower unless they are far apart in age or different genders.

I had a “sprinkle” because I was having a girl, and my first was a boy. It wasn’t big or fancy though.

Diaper shower. I didnt ask for anything though. Basically just a party to celebrate baby girl.

I'm having on for my second. There is an 8 year age gap but even if there where not I would be thrown one any way. My husbands family and mine all love baby showers and new babies and they make a big deal out of every new baby. We all get together to celebrate every new baby. My brother in law has 5 kids and his family have happily thrown him 5 baby showers.

I had one with both of my girls because they’re 7 years apart. When I try for my boy I probably won’t have one because I don’t plan on waiting as long this time lol we’re gonna start trying for another when our youngest daughter turns 2. (She’s 8 months)
