My family and husband’s family are very far out of town and have to make plans to come down when the baby is born. My MIL stress me out in general and my mom would have to make a plane flight in advance. I was wondering what everyone’s experience was re: having one of them here right after the birth. We scheduled our delivery date today (I have mild preeclampsia so can’t go past 37 weeks). I’ve been on the fence of whether I want it to just be husband and I for a couple weeks or if I would regret not getting the help. (We have a lot of friends and get support system here which would mean we don’t go hungry or anything like that.)
