Screening Positive down syndrome?

How many of you had the screening come back positive for down syndrome but the baby not actually have it?

I didn’t do the screening at all. From what I understood, it looks for specific markers that *could* indicate downs, but could mean a lot of other things too. I’m not sure of the exact percentage, but I think it is about 30% of babies with markers that actually end up having Down’s syndrome (less than 1 in 3 who test positive)

I didn’t but my sister in law did. She had a very healthy boy with no downs
